These site-responsive installations began with an inquiry into the relationship between found objects and the spirit of a public space. This selection represents a body of sixty spontaneous, temporary installations that were created during a self-imposed, four month residency on a remote beach in the Rockaways on the edge of New York City. All materials were found on location, and the photograph is the only document.
